How do you collect feedback/bug reporting? I’d like to find a plugin that just lets a user right click anywhere in my web-app and add a comment/feedback. Bonus if it automatically ads a screen capture of the page the user sees when adding the report. Any ideas?

Hey Pros, I need some help, I'm currently working for a client that has a product that automatically creates developer portfolios based on their GitHub profile information. Their target market is developers who are looking for jobs, does anyone know how I can find contact information of developers who are looking for jobs. I know Linkedin recruiter is an option but it costs $900 which is way too much. Is their any other way or maybe some tool that can help me find these contacts?

Hey guys, We’re having trouble getting initial users to try out our api / website. We’ve got some signups but struggling to convert them to users. We’re building a crypto api which allows you to check historical on-chain ethereum data. The website is: eisberg.gg. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance 🙏

Over the years I answered quite a few questions on Quora In the past week, I decided to check there to consider directions for business development. It feels like the questions are old, and topics have not been touched for months and years. What is your take on Quora?

Reddit has been a popular channel for user acquisition and growth; I wanted to ask you Pros, what is your approach when posting on Reddit, and have you seen any success on Reddit in terms of growth and user acquisition? Here are some things I have learned about Reddit: • Post where my audience is. • Create a blog post about lessons I've learned. • Post the same article on different subs, but don't overdo it. • Double-check the rules in the subreddits where I post, clean my content, and then post.

Got a question for all you Reddit marketers We're thinking of starting a subreddit for the niche we're in. There are one or two subreddits for that niche already but they're pretty inactive so this seems like a good opportunity. My question is this: How "branded" should the subreddit be? Should we clearly state that this is basically the official Reddit forum of the business? No effort to cover up our promotional posts. Or should we try and be as anonymous as possible? Just start the subreddit and let the users take over, subtly feeding in our brand's content pieces as and when necessary?

Hi everyone. Thank you for all the great insights so far (I've been here for a couple of months now). I'm at a dev tools platform startup (https://livecycle.io/) and I'm working on a short-term sign up blitz to try and get 50-100 new signups within the next 4 weeks. My target persona for adopting the product is a hands-on developer (not a manager who is a step removed from the code). My two questions are: 1. Are there any 'communities' or platforms that are particularly receptive/responsive to trying new products? 2. Are there any marketing tactics that you've found particularly effective to encouraging developers to try your product? (gift cards? free swag? anything else?) 3. I have a number of things that I'm already working on, but I am trying to think out of the box here, and so I'm reaching out to the community for your genius input.. 🙂 . Thanks!

Does anyone have recommendations on influencer marketing strategy for Tiktok? Looking to get downloads for our browser extension. When I reached out to Tiktok influencers- mostly people with 10k-40k followers and an average video with 5k-10k views, they ask for $750-$2000 for a 15 second video. If a video gets 5k views and that leads to 50-100 downloads- the CAC would be quite high for us. I'm currently offering influencers $100-200 and a free guest post with a backlink from our site - featuring them as a top influencer for their niche. Are there any recommendations on forming partnerships with influencers?

Hey everyone, curious on your thoughts for the following dilemma... I'm working on putting together an education based service and want to bring on board courses for various subjects such as Python, Excel, Design etc.. Naturally I've reached out to instructors on platforms such as Udemy, but they all seem to be locked in with exclusivity agreements. My question is, how would you think of enticing instructors to create net-new courses for your platform with limited up-front capital?

Curious if anyone has expereinced something like this. I run 2 webinars a month and we use Zoom webinars for it. WHen the invitation is sent, it makes people manually add it to their calendar, and I have a feeling a huge amount of people are missing that invite. Does anyone know of a way to make these messages automatically add them to calendars?

You can set a recurring meeting with Zoom business and then people only have to add it to their cals once. But aside from that I dont think there is a way to make it any more automated. People do have to accept it after all

We also use Zoom. I create the calendar event on a public company calendar in google. From the event, click on the three dot menu in the top right > publish event > copy link to event. I embed this in buttons in confirmation emails and webinar reminders. It only works for Google but that handles a big chunk of what people use.

@Aaron Friedman I think you're looking for an invite notification in the email. I worked on something like this recently (the ink-in-time app for my website, https://github.com/src-r-r/ink-in-time) It's a specific
ics
definition, which is then attached as an
ics
in the email, though many systems might have it generate the definition automagically. If you want I can take a look at what you have and offer a suggestion.
Or do you mean for the email to detect that there's an event and then add it to the calendar? I don't think that's possible except for an internal setup. Because you'd need to first configure the email client (whether it's web, mobile, desktop) to know what to do with an ics. Then you'd need to create a protocol to communicate with the email client though some sort of email metadata. It's messy at best, impossible at worst.
