hey all 👋 I am wondering what everyone's view is on including AI generated images in your content? For example as a blog header? I've been playing with it quite a bit lately and its generating some surprisingly good results once you get your head around prompts. Has anyone done this already or seen it anywhere of note? Example of something I generated a few days ago.

I did it and no problems at all
just check with google what they think the image is before using it

I think it's great for blogs as you generally are not 'choosey' and are going for a general theme. The minute you try to be specific (change the shirt color of this person) etc.. Then you're back to a specialist skill like photoshop work. But I understand the models are improving so maybe in the future that will be easy.

@Patrick Herbert any recommendations on how you learned to refine your promting? Those images turned out great. I am a designer by trade and my ai work looks like a kindergartener created it.

Absolutely! So a few things that really make a difference; 1. Be descriptive if you want better results. The more you can be descriptive the better. People hit the easy button with AI and just jam in "create me X" but with these if you can be super descriptive it wont get ALL the details right but the output is significantly better. 2. Go to a few of the channels and find some of the images you like or that have the same style of output and look at what they've used to prompt it then throw some of that into your prompts one thing at a time to get to the desired effect. 3. If you want something in the vein above you want to make sure that you give it a specific designer/photography etc 4. Probably the most important - give it the same or similar amount of time you'd expect to give to you designing something and expect to iterate a ton until you learn how to manipulate it. In the beginning my stuff was exactly the same as you describe but when I stuck to one prompt and just kept trying a ton of different things that helped a lot. 5. The mail emoji is your friend. If you don't know in discord if you hit that on yours (or anyone's) design the envelope emoji will DM it to you. That helps you backtrack to a good version of your prompt or find others to use again. BIG timesaver. I am also creating a spreadsheet but Im not sure if that is gonna be useful tbh Hope that helps
