Hello everyone, As I am working on my fashiontech startup πŸ€, I think it is very important to start building momentum even before launch. πŸ“‘ I think it would be beneficial to publish an article about the startup to spread knowledge and create credibility. Can someone advise me on how this could be done organically? Thank you so much in advance!

Hi Sarah, you mean organically build up momentum? I'd suggest talking across all social media about what your goals are and how your product will make a difference for your target customers, maybe share a roadmap? And talk about your progress on it.
just realized I've replied in the main window instead of here in the thread 🫠

Hey Peter! Thanks for your response! I have been doing that and I feel like I have shared my startup with all the people I know! Like I reached a dead end for now. Thought that publishing something would boost reach, create new content, and provide credibility

Can you provide more info about the startup itself? Also ... why an article and not a series of videos, let's say?

What do your customers read?

Hey @Matej Sever! Sure! I'm working on MOODAHUB, a fashiontech startup that aims at driving fashion consumers towards sustainable practices. We plan on doing so by introducing the first social fashion hub that aims at maximizing individual wardrobes by providing a social virtual wardrobe that allows social styling and the most personalized secondhand shopping experience. MOODAHUB is still in its early stages and has received the attention of top VCs like 500 and Plug and Play, who require traction to invest in seed stage. Since I'm still in pre-seed and collecting traction and working on the MVP, thought of further providing credibility through publications!
Hi @Adam Goldberg. Since I'm targeting Gen Z Females and MOODAHUB is a fashiontech startup, I believe they read fashion magazine and are interested in fashion blogs.

You need to find something useful to write about and then pitch the blogs for guest post. If you don’t have anything that will help readers, you can probably just pay for an ad.
s
How does pitching usually happen? Do I present my startup and give article topic ideas with bullet points and so? Or do I just write an article and pitch it for them to review? @Adam Goldberg

My suggestion might not be the best and fast way to do it. What I am doing currently is focusing on organic search by setting up a fashion blog and just writing articles. I am seeing some results but it takes time, however it can have great results in terms of getting users) for a long time. There are some hacks that you can also use to drive traffic to blog/your site, let me know and I can share more.

You're very welcome Sarah and I know what you mean
