Hello everyone, it’s nice to meet you all! I’m Vlad, a product designer from Romania, very passionate about UX and methodologies that help businesses bring delightful experiences to their users. Recently I embarked on this AI train, trying to understand how this new novel tech can help us all get the right things to the right people. So if you’d have me, I’d like to tell you about the current process we designers use to ensure we understand what we need to do and how AI can REALLY help us 🙂 One of the so called “secrets” in product design is ensuring that you are 1st, always in touch with your users and secondly, to make sure you understand them correctly. This is what roughly us, UX designers call user research and it can be broken down in 3 phases: 1. Planning - Know what you test, here’s when you make sure you get your questions right (no leading questions aka make sure they’re honest) 2. Conduct - Make a few calls, a rule of thumb is having 5-7 users interviewed (qualitative research, it’s not about the numbers, it’s about the sample of people you choose and the quality of your conversation) 3. Analyse - Here is where most time is spent, You want to extract the right information about the “right” users. I don’t want to bore people now, but this step is fascinating. First of all you have to classify the sentiment of your research, how people feel about your product/feature, what is your average person typology <- we call this an average persona, make sure you remove bias. what are the “we need to act” points aka insights and honestly I could go on for days now 😅. This step is quite tricky, the other 2, you can do a decent job if you follow some rules correctly. To put it simple, I think that research analysis is where the most difficult part of the research lays for ux researchers/designers, product managers and marketing professionals. Now I feel that AI has gotten to the point where it can really help us with this, truly. That’s why I spent the last few months developing Research Studio, an AI powered game changer where you can simply make a folder for your research, upload your raw data materials (excel files, word documents and pdf’s) and get a proper analyzation in less then a minute, no human subjectivity, no bias. ccurate information that you can use for the next steps in your business. Research Studio so far offers: • Summarisation • Insights and key takeaways • Sentiment + Sentiment analysis (get a breakdown of your users statements and ranking) • An AI chat trained to your research context • Average persona • Competitors • Data diagram As Romanians say, “I don’t want to sell you donuts”, aka I don’t want to oversell this, so I invite you to give it a try and let me know how you feel about it. Was it easy to use? Did it give you the information you expected? etc. Don’t be shy 😄, I can’t wait to see what it can do for you. P.S. You can have up to 2 researches/user and up to 3 assets/research for free, this should help you get an idea of what this tool can do. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this monstrosity of text and I am really sorry, I’m very passionate about the things I do therefore I can’t help it 😂 Cheers everyone!
