Hey Jeya - Yes, it will still give some DA juice. Ideally you want the homepage backlink but those are harder to get and product pages and blog posts are usually easier. But they still help DA if those pages are 1. Relevant to your site’s niche and 2. Internally link to related pages That means you need to have a strong internal linking strategy so Google sees all link roads lead to their correlated pillar pages and those pillar pages can be directly accessed from the Homepage.

Yes, it will work great as long as there are links to other pages on your site on that page. Usually you have links in your header and footer at least that will satisfy spreading the page rank to other parts of your site.
