Has anyone seen issues with Twitter ads driving a ton of questionable traffic or extremely low on-site conversions? We performed a twitter test last month where we ran a 6 sec video ad to drive traffic to a landing page. We got a ton of traffic right away — 2k visitors over a weekend — but almost zero clicks to the CTAs on our landing page. After letting this run for 10 days, we launched an identical ad that went straight to our home page under the assumption that our landing page must just be bad. Zero conversions (defined by contact info in this case). Any similar experiences, ideas, or recommendations?

Much better on other platforms. I’ve brought this question to a number of marketeers and they consensus is that the twitter ad builder is terrible, twitter ads are not very effective, you need to work with an account manager if you want to try anything on twitter, and the big thing everyone says is, “Move that spend to tiktok spark ads”
