Hey guys, I am building something that will automate your competitor insights on a weekly/monthly basis. I wanted to share here to see what everyones feedback might be Here is what the tool does; 1. Sees every webpage update on your competitors website 2. Sees new ads on Google and Meta 3. Summarises what happened across your competitors this week/month by telling you who published what, what ads changed, if there is a theme across what was published/posted. 4. Monitors competitor reviews and sentiment in those reviews and gives a 90 day account of current pros and cons customers of your competitors are talking about 5. Pings you if prices change on a competitors pricing page Would anyone here be interested in a tool like that? And what else would you want something like this to do? The tool is not live yet to use but Im pouring time into getting an MVP out there asap. I am thinking of calling it Odin for the wisdom you get from it (odin gave an eye for wisdom, Im only asking for a monthly subscription).

Wow this is a lot of scraping. How will you handle that? Great idea btw

Thanks @Ivan I've built 1&2 above for the MVP now over the last weekend and a bit. It's a lot of scraping and storage but that's part of most saas I guess. I still have to connect up a the rest and then wrangle it into a coherent front end. But it's coming along. I think the key to the scraping and storage is that most people don't need daily or hourly checks those would be enterprise like accounts anything under that would probably do well enough with monthly or weekly checks at most.

Yeah depends on your niche. Tourism and Ecomm probably want more but for most service based businesses I agree.
