just saw the post insights you can track now on reddit.
do you use it somehow? Since it's not possible to track the amount of people who went to the website via this link, with the help of utms(you will be banned), how can you estimate the efficiency of the promotion? the amount of views is not equal the amount of people who opened the post, but it shows just who saw that post in their stream

What do you mean by "you will be banned" in relation to UTM parameters?

@Kyle Taylor if I place UTM parameters, the posts or comments containing the link get removed more often, also i understand that "bit.ly" links look suspicious for people, so way less probability they will follow it.

My links work fine with UTM parameters.
Also, you can use GA to track all the traffic channels.

I just clicked on a few ads in my Reddit feed and all but one utilized UTM parameters

I strongly advise against using redirect/URL shorteners for any paid advertising. Google, specifically, will disapprove ads for redirects to a different domain.

bit.ly and other redirects links are better for organic posts, email marketing, etc, where the UTMs are already contained with the redirected final URL. But you should be fine to utilize tracking parameters in your Reddit ads
