I'm open to feedback with this. The objective is to make job-seekers valuable and give them dignity. This product is just at the concept stage for right now, but I'm a dev, so development and deployment should be easy. Job-seekers are rebranded to Heroes. Employers are rebranded as Partners. Heroes post who they are and what their skills are. Partners must pay a fee in order to contact the heroes. Here's what's important: the hero receives a percentage of the purchase. So they are paid just for being available for work! In addition, Partners acknowledge if they liked the Hero. This is used to differentiate legitimate folks from others in the hiring game. Could this be open to abuse? Sure. But I think it's a step in the right direction.
