Hi everyone, I hope you've all had a great weekend. I just wanted to get some insights how do people feel about white-labelling companies?

I think white labeling is great. Unless you are a huge company, there's no way anyone can do everything in-house. White labeling allows flexibility. If your workload increases, the white label company should have the staff to do increased workload with no hiring on your end. If your workload decreases, you decrease their services and no firing on your side. Also you can completely fire the white label. This is all extremely difficult if you have employees. So, for example, if you are in the website development industry, you can't go out and hire 10 website developer employees by next week, but you can get that many by using white label services. As far as I'm concerned, being a 100% white label company is great. Outsource everything is always my goal. How's that? 🙂

I don’t really think most consumers care where the products are coming from. Altho there’s a growing trend in reading labels I don’t think anyone looks beyond the ingredients. BUT, as a person that does look at packing and other aspects of marketing/branding, I always find it peculiar if I see a product with the same/extremely similar packaging under diferent labels in the same store. This is more of a resellers problem but it might be the best case scenario for everyone if you sell to only 1 retailer within a region for a specific product so they can avoid competing (and you can avoid potentially losing both clients).

@TR Truth Thank you so much for this detailed viewpoint, it's really something I've been starting to look into. And apologies for the late reply, I didn't know a thread is created if people respond to you in one of the channels.
