Hello! I created a Facebook Ads campaign and loaded it with 17 different ads. Out of the 17, only 1 is getting decent volume. Everything I'm reading online says you want to optimize for the lowest cost per conversion, not necessarily the highest volume, but the others don't have enough volume for me to feel comfortable making that judgement. Question: Should I pause all the ones with no volume and test new creative against the one that's getting hits? Am I testing too many at once?

@Gaurav Subham I believe you specialize in paid ads, what is your take on this question?

Hi @Anthony Hoang I have few questions: 1. How old is your ad account? 2. Is all ads are under same adset? 3. Campaign type is CBO/ABO?

1. Ad account is about a year old. 2. Yes they're all under the same ad set. 3. It's an app installs campaign, optimizing for a standard in app event -- Start Trial

Hey @Anthony Hoang You should divide the ads into different adsets, in your case it could be 4-5 adsets with 3-4 ads max in an adset, with adset budget optimization (ABO).

so i was using advantage+ to run my app event optimization (because i thought i had to) and with advantage+ and iOS 14+ campaigns, you can only one run ad set per campaign, and only one campaign with an app event optimization goal
but i think i may have found a way to run an app event optimization campaign without needing to use advantage +

Advantage+ will help you with audience a/b testing without compromizing the campaign performance.

yea but using advantage plus will only allow me to run one campaign w/ app event optimization. and only one adset per campaign if i'm using iOS 14+ campaigns
so i would have to have all my creative in one campaign and one adset

1 campaign should not have more than 5 ad sets and 1 adsets should not have more than 4 ads. So, in order to a/b test your creative you distribute ads according to the above recommendation.

Facebook will not allow me to have more than one campaign if i'm using advantage+ with iOS 14+ and App Event Optimization though

you don't need to use advantage+. It can be normal campaign with ABO.

if i find a winning ad, do i leave it in that adset and camapign or should i have a dedicated adset for winning ads and move it over?

Dedicated adset(s) for winning ad(s).
