My friends who have been successful at this are often doing events with partners, and they tag the partners in the posts. This results in a network rising tide effect that elevates the profile of the posts and all of those involved, as long as the partners know to engage with the posts and reshare them.
LinkedIn ads are also highly targetable. If you know who you want to reach, publish some good engaging content and put some cash in to promote it to exactly the right people.
Remember, LinkedIn is a professional environment, so you donโt want your LinkedIn personal brand to be too personal. It should be about your work, expertise, and collaborations, not your kids, pets, etc.
