Linkedin ads: Phishing. Do not use an ad to promote a website that tricks a user into providing personal or other information. This is one of the latest updates on linkedin ads, does this include running a gated content on Linkedin? We are launching a research paper and we want to use Linkedin ads, to bring traffic to the landing page which requires name, email, job title and company.

this is weird. They have a tool that in order for users to download something, linkedin itself will plug in people's information automatically.

Asking someone to sign-up isn't a trick though is it?

True true, our facebook ad account got blocked for some stupid rules, so i wasn't going to risk it with our linkedin as well. Better safe than sorry. Thank you though
