Hi Nick. Just checked out campside. I have worked for a social media startup before. I am curious to know what is your plan to reach the first 100 users? We were able to build a userbase above 5000 signups but DAU was less then 10 after a year of operation.

Hey Ahmed, this is what i’m a little nervous about, but at the same time excited about. I think the Camping community is unique and as a full time traveler living on the road in my camper I think I have the ability to really understand what they (we) are looking for.

Question - Why does this need to be a social media app instead of a community on Slack / discord / reddit? What benefits do you perceive?

Heyy Nicholas, as a camper I really like the idea and I would be happy to use the app, but it's not available in my country yet. Also, I think that you must improve the landing page where you present the app, in order to acquire new users and build brand awareness. If you need some tips or know-how for the landing page I can share some insights 🙂
