Hi all! I’m in the process of trying to find an platform to use for email marketing and outbound sales emails, both to segment and keep existing customers engaged with different workflows and automations, but also to use for outbound sales. Are these generally 2 different platforms or are there good ones out there that can do both (without costing an arm and a leg). Have been using Sendinblue.com for some of the basic marketing campaigns, and for a basic “Welcome” email when people register, but nothing more than that. It doesn’t seem to be a great fit for the outbound sales though.

What kind of emails do you intend to use for outbound sales? Broadcast emails?

Thanks @Stefan Despotovski! Lemlist, Woodpecker and Reply.io were 3 suggestions given to me today, so great to see that they line up with your list
@Oluwatobi Oni Paul - Looking at basic email sequences to targeted audiences
Some of the suggestion I got on the email structures which are maybe useful to share on this group for those that come across the thread: • Keep it text based • No HMTL • Keep Spam words out of it • Keep super short 100-150 words max
Other concepts which were new to me were: • Volume Management • Mailbox Warmup
Next steps: • Decide on a CRM • Decide on a Sales Sequencing Platform • Decide on a Marketing Emails Platform • Get them all linked up 😆 • >MRR 🚀

For me, I would prefer to use different tools for email marketing and outbound (one is for your audience, another is for sales outreach). For outbound, I've used Outreach.io in the past and loved it - they have a dedicated CRM which is solid but also integrate with common CRMs I've heard that Klaviyo is popular for email marketing but I don't have much experience using it

At our startup we use (and like): Klenty (sales automation) We also use Zoho but I’m not crazy about it (or their customer support). Zoho contains a module called Campaigns for marketing purposes. It’s ok, does the job, nothing spectacular. I’ve also liked Pardot for marketing but I think it’s gone south from what I hear. I also like Benchmarkemail - never hear of it but I like it, better than Mailchimp.
