Hi everyone, I'm excited to share with you about Blockenberg, the first decentralized and censorship-proof CMS. As someone who believes in the power of technology to make positive changes in the world, I saw a need for a platform that can help people share their ideas and stories without fear of censorship or restrictions. I hope the landing page (https://blockenberg.xyz/) explains our philosophy and vision well, but as someone who's not a marketing expert, I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have. While I may be a dreamer, the reason I started this project is a practical one. I was discussing the idea of building a fully decentralized website, but the question that came up was: 'Yeah, nice, but normal people aren't going to write md files, right?' For a while, I put this idea on hold because building a decentralized system that is user-friendly is no easy feat for a single person to undertake. However, during a hackathon I participated in, I discovered a great platform called Fission, which helped me build an MVP for my idea. From there, I decided to continue developing Blockenberg because I believe that the world needs a platform like this. You might be wondering why we need a censorship-resistant CMS, especially if you don't live in countries like North Korea or Russia. But the truth is, privacy and free speech are important to everyone, regardless of where they live. As someone who values freedom and democracy, I believe that everyone deserves the right to express themselves freely, without fear of repression or censorship. Unfortunately, oppression and censorship still exist in our world today. As someone who grew up in a country ruled by communist tyranny, and has worked with people who've experienced the rise of totalitarian governments in different parts of the world, I know how important it is to fight for freedom every day. The technology behind Blockenberg is here to help people share content in a decentralized and safe way, hidden from the prying eyes of censors.
