What is the right time to list your product on ProductHunt? Is listing it when you are gauging interested to soon? i.e. All you have is a single page with the planned features and a way for someone to share their email address if they are interested.

I would recommend trying to ship your product on PH, aka Upcoming page. It option allows to you collect the first early adopters, as a list of emails to use while the major launch on PH.
Because launching the product on PH requests the availability of at least an MPV version of your product. Demo version for instance available on the website

I saw a really good article on this I'm stealing. Basically Sundays are best, EU morning, and then you can kinda hack it. Let me find that for you...
The reason for Sunday is there are less launches so you are more likely to be product hunt of the day. And you definitely want people you know to warm up their accounts and have old accounts. And as this guy says, have them find the launch on the home page vs a link

Thanks so much for taking the time to hunt it down and share it, @Hilary Torn 🙏

Hi @Schalk Neethling The right time to list your product on ProductHunt depends on a variety of factors, including the stage of your product development, the level of interest you have already generated, and your overall marketing strategy. It's generally a good idea to wait until you have a minimum viable product (MVP) that has been tested and validated by early users before listing it on ProductHunt. Launching too soon can result in negative feedback if your product isn't fully developed or doesn't meet the expectations of potential users. It's also important to have a solid marketing plan in place before launching on ProductHunt to maximize your chances of success. I have a resource that might help you understand when your product is go-to-market fit. My team developed this GTM strategy template to breakdown a product’s launch- its value proposition, messaging and positioning, competitor analysis, Marketing strategy, product launch checklist, etc. - https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1MuTNfHD-J38t1rfOcN-psip6Jn2ztECe/edit#slide=id.p1 Hope this provides some insight you are looking for.
