Has anyone every ran an in person event that has been associated with a Discord or Reddit Community that has had a lot of success? Currently working with someone trying to do this and we want to know if it's been proven to work before. It's specifically in the music/crypto space. Let me know your thoughts!

Yes. Just make sure you have something for them to look forward or run a poll/form type to see who are near the location or something like that.
