Having a glance, I agree completely, most emails are garbage and the interesting ones ( the ones that have value to the reader) are quite involved so it robs time from more productive tasks.
The text is quite long and also too negative.
Personally, I don't keep more than 10 emails in my inbox I either archive, delete or block them.
It's not hard to unsubscribe and if it comes back you can always block those. It's really not hard.
I have 6 emails in my inbox that I want to read or are relevant to a task I'm currently doing.
There are another 3 on my business account.
