Hi all, this might be an interesting problem and I wonder if any of you could help share some advise: Background: My company, Immersell, currently offers 2 services: 1. Deployment of a one of the kind solution (only one known to people on that platform) to help people funnel traffic gathered from within Horizon Worlds (an VR social/world building app by Meta) to other platforms in real life such as websites, newsletters etc. via emails. If it is an e-commerce use case, it can even seamlessly replicate shopping cart contents from within the VR app to real life e-commerce sites, so the purchasing experience is smoother and relevant in real life. 2. I help businesses to design and build a functional virtual store in Horizon Worlds to help attract traffic (and convert to other platforms using technology mentioned in #1) Problem statement: Business is slower than expected given this is the only solution of its kind available currently. Why - my guess: 1. People are not used to have money or business driven activities in the app or in VR in general yet, so the need to have this system exists but not a major theme amongst the users 2. It is not necessarily easy to convince people the values of having a metaverse presence, so it is not easy to bring businesses owners who are not metaverse goers to the metaverse, at which point they would realize the need for my technology. 3. I'm not good at marketing, I'm mostly sharing my company's info via some weekly "build in public" posts and the fact that the system is deployed to a few well known people's worlds. Question: 1. Do you have other theories of why my business is slower than expected? 2. Given my situation how would you recommend me to improve my marketing activities? Thank you all!

Hey MarkVerse, can you get some insights from your existing customers on why they paid (or will continue to pay if itโ€™s a subscription model) and continue to use your product? And for the companies you pitched to but rejected the proposition, do they provide any feedback on why they are not proceeding right now?

Hey @RedPillBluePill, I agreee with @Randy Chai, to give you more idea will be great to know about your audience! But just some assumptions: With todays market conditions, companies and entrepreneurs are avoiding to invest budget in innovation or risky projects. I will wait for this 4th quater to see how everything is changing. On the other hand, I think that a good marketing strategy and GTM will be better to showcase better your product.

Thank you both for your reply! Let me try to answer some questions and hopefully that would give you a bit more info to my situation. 1. The few companies/individuals that are using my systems are working with me b/c of the 2 factors: (a) This is really the only way to systematically funnel traffic to outside of the app. If you met someone in the App, the app doesn't even have a very seamless way to connect you to the person's facebook or IG page (which are products from the same company, Meta) let alone other platforms/websites etc. (b) I'm an innovator and has made a (small time) name for myself b/c of this system and other things I do, so some people in the community understands what I'm trying to do for the VR platform and would like to show supports, I call them early adopters and hope I can turn them into my "super fans" who will help me promote my product spontaneously. 2. I don't really get a lot of rejections, as this is the only solution of its kind. I would have a few threads open, but few landing. Getting ghosted a lot and my only remedy is I'm a project manager by trade and following up is my life skill at this point. My best guesses as for why are: (a) People who are good at businesses are a minority in this app's space, have regular and on point biz discussions is hard. (b) Customer needs for traffic funnel is not yet high. I see things happening in this app everyday, but most of them are revolving around within the app (building worlds, shooting videos, parties etc.). Maybe the app's eco-system and features is not yet able to attract a large amount of people who has the need to attract traffic on a new platform and transfer them to their existing platforms (such as e-commerce store owners etc.) Finally I do agree that I'm probably not doing a great job at articulating my services in a very easy to understand and public way (although I have been trying) So I will definitely work on that. But any suggestions based on the info I provided above are welcome and deeply appreciated!!!

Hi @RedPillBluePill, do you have the chance to install or plug in Hotjar o another platform to see heatmaps or create some survies to try to understand what features they really using? I will try to go and talk to some of them and understand where they really find value from your product. Would you share your product website and app, to take a look? Please

Absolutely, here is my website: www.immersell.co. But really this is not my main way to market my product, I use my IG account as most of the Horizon Worlds users are posting about it on IG today: https://www.instagram.com/marksverse_immersell/ Your recommendation, however, prompted me to try to see if GummySearch could help me uncover anything on Reddit, I have always thought Reddit is a good place to market my product, but due to the contributions first nature of the community I haven't been able to post any "self promoting" posts.
