To add on to Stefan's note, media is like a score of music. One note does nothing to stimulate the audience. A series of notes set to a predictable cadence, builds interest. What is the plan for the follow on 'notes' in the score. Here are some ideas and pace the news 3 weeks apart:
1. product release
2. customer announcements
3. company news
4. Product adoption
5. a commissioned study
Diversity of news and having a clear position on things in the industry are key. No one really cares about a product announcement, it's what you wrap around it that matters. Cycle 2-5 multiple times. Add in blog posts and guest posts.
