People respond best to incentives and more importantly, they don’t respond to offers that are loaded with uncertainty as is the case in the text I quoted above. Put yourself in the shoes of an affiliate: you are considering two potential affiliate opportunities. Option A, if you bring in a new client we will pay you 20% of the amount for the first month, even if the client cancels the following month. Amounts range from $2000 - $5000/mo. Option B, what you have proposed: we’ll pay you an incentive after 7 days if the client becomes a paying customer. Which one would you pick? It’s obvious most people would pick option A which promises an earning potential of $400 - $1000 per referral over option B which promises an unknown reward for a certain amount of effort. 1. How did you get your initial customers? Referrals, cold outreach, inbound via SEO? 2. How much is the average billing per account? $20k AUD/mo? Higher or lesser? 3. How long is the average account duration? 6 months or less? 4. Do you have a website? Traffic numbers?

Founder’s contact book, Facebook ads, SEM, networking/referrals 2. AVG value per client per month is $950 3. The lifetime value is on AVG is $2700 4. Traffic numbers are currently 3800 this month, down 1k from last month
