Hey guys. What are the best tools to design mock ups for startup ideas? I’m not a technical person but I’ve heard Figma is decent for this. Would appreciate any other suggestions.

Figma is pretty good and an ok learning curve. If it's something simple like boxes and images, even Powerpoint can do pretty good nowadays

I would suggest Balsamiq for wireframes...It's simpler and easy to use....But it again depends if u want a simple drawing to make your dev team understand ..I would suggest Balsamiq,....but if u are too serious regarding UI and UX and want the real feel I would suggest Figma

Thanks guys! don't have a dev team, it's more me just fleshing out the project. Think I will try Figma and Balsamiq

I wouldn't recommend Figma purely because they're not open source, which is dangerous for a startup. One I've found that's pretty decent is Inkpot, as well as draw.io.
