Hey guys I recently launched my app on reddit and got quite a good amount of paying users from the US. I want to continue marketing but I can't promote on reddit regularly because of rules so I tried reddit ads but they don't work well. The growth has halted as I am unable to figure out where to market now. Any tips would be really helpful as I am kinda stuck in a really weird situation.

Have you tried targeted PPC advertising networks like Google or Bing Ads ?

If your target audience is really on Reddit, you should look at Howitzer. https://growthmarketingpros.slack.com/archives/C02NYBM068L/p1648627835024399

Hello Harsh, congratulations on your app launch. Have you considered using other social media platforms? Twitter is quite similar to Reddit, you can start with that. Discord is another great platform. You can also try social media advertising to market your app. All the best!

Anyone here need help with Reddit? I download all 300GB+ of comments from Reddit per month and run some nerd magic on it to understand how people in one subreddit belong in another, so I can give you lookalike audiences for Reddit. Here's an example for r/iPhone
s
@Patrick Ryan do you have a write up about the nerd magic somewhere?

Give me a subreddit
i'll show you
technique i'm using is Jacard between users https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaccard_index

it takes Snowflake GPUs 6 minutes to compile everything. It takes my laptop 18 minutes. It takes standard programmers 2 hours to compile everything :3

I see. So, for the lookalike audiences, is this packages up as a SaaS that you are selling?
p
im toying with that idea, yeah
i also have a wide range of other tools at my disposal, such as social listening though Netbase and my internal suite of OSINT tools
