hey everyone, Derek here, I’m a co-founder of Productmotion (https://productmotion.com). The aim is to be the “home of product” in an organization helping Product Managers with • collecting and managing incoming feedback • formulating and prioritizing upcoming features • building and maintaining product roadmaps We just launched into beta about a month ago and have been steadily improving the product based on early feedback. DM me if you are interested in a beta code ! We’re now at the point where I’d love to start getting more users on the platform, but I’m a bit newer to this part and trying to figure out what channels work best. Looking to meet some like minded folks and grow ! Any advice anyone has is appreciated

You can do inboud or outbound marketing. What do you do now to acquire customers? Do you do SEO? Do you do ads?

well… we just started looking at this, so we haven't done much yet. So far have just started with some cold outreach on LinkedIn and found a few beta users
SEO seems like a good strategy to try but we don't have much content yet

If you do SEO you will not regret it. You just have to be patient with it. It comes down to your budget, time, resources and your skill set. If you have the time work on SEO, and content, that will give you results in the long run. If your looking for a short sales cycle linkedin is gonna be your best friend. Do you have sales and copywriting experience? I would suggest to follow Andrew Gazdecki. The most important skill an entrepreneur could have is the ability to sell. You should focus 80% of your time on revenue generating activities. You will succed if you have the perseverwnce and patience.

Thanks @Yonathan - I don’t have too much copywriting experience. If we wanted to get started on SEO, what resources would you recommend to get started on?

Content is king. It takes time, perseverence and patience wins the race.
