The #1 reason so many companies say LinkedIn, youtube, TikTok, etc. do not work for them is because they do not really try. They make a couple of posts for a couple of months and assume that is going to bring in business. Content marketing should be done for a MINIMUM of 1 year. If you follow the right strategies and put an emphasis on these platforms for a year, it is almost impossible to not drive more revenue to your bottom line.

Exactly. The expectation of fast result leads to poor execution and finally no result at all.

I’ve always heard about that. So does that mean early stage startups should not do content marketing? knowing only after a year whether somethings works or not sounds like a very slow turn around time for an early stage startup

No, not at all. Startups need a content marketing strategy right away. But when you're in the early stage, it means you need to be very strategic about your marketing spend--targeting and personalization are key elements. If your content is not out there, and you're not cross-promoting it or using distribution channels, no one will ever find you.
