Since you’re bootstrapping a two-sided marketplace, it seems like you really want to do grassroots marketing. Go to gay bars and local events in whichever city you’re targeting, host events, etc. Once you have traction, repeat in another city. Given you’re only targeting 4% of the population already, I think it’ll be really hard to get critical mass any other way.

Hey Adrien, one thing you can do to expand your market size is get users who are “open-minded” rather than only from the LGBT community. What I mean is, drive content around the problem “People who cannot find homes due to any kind of discrimination can find one at MGF” Because as you plan to expand out of london, you’ll see a lot of people being denied a home due to color, nationality, religious views etc. This should help widen your market and multiple your current user base.
