Hello everyone, I'm going to try to kick start some conversation and get it going.
Apart from indiehackers, product hunt, reddit, hacker news. How do you start growing your audience pool and bring your awareness of your product to others?

The million dollar question :) My idea was to reach out to people with a bit more followers who might need the product via Twitter or Youtube or specialized blogs that cover what the peoduct does. Try to introduce the product, offer them a couple of months for free or something...Itโs not a very scalable approach but i canโt think of anything else

Just to bring it back to your original suggestions. How do you have any success on promoting on Reddit when most subreddits will delete any posts that look like self-promotion
I'm in the process of making youtube demos with titles that answer common questions in my industry.

Anyone here need help with Reddit? I download all 300GB+ of comments from Reddit per month and run some nerd magic on it to understand how people in one subreddit belong in another, so I can give you lookalike audiences for Reddit. Here's an example for r/iPhone
