Here's why:
These are cold outreach tools. You will email 100s of people out there. There is a lot of possibility that people may mark your email as spam.
This will affect your deliverability and your domain reputation will be at risk. Future, all your emails will be going to spam if this happens.
To curb that, if you have a website named
growthx.com, then get another domain called
growth-x.com and plug this domain under your outreach tools.
This method is very very common to protect domain reputation. Used by many companies. I do this too.
Next, you can then connect this domain and also have custom domain tracking. I use Snov.
Goal is to protect your domain reputation and outreach from a separate domain from your original one. Just make sure the domain you purchase is very similar to your original one.
Or you can create a subdomain under your original one, but still not recommended IMO.
These tools will warmup the email accounts then.
