have sold through something competing.. Appsumo had lower payout rates. Likely larger sales volumes though! If you want the cash badly enough it can help you .. just know that the users can be a total pita

I did the two times sale on AppSumo...i agree with @LDD5lack users can be pita but also more than revenue these users are extremely knowledgeable to give you feedback as they use so many softwares and are used to proactively provide feedbacks.
